About us

Who we are

M-Kyala Ventures is a specialized strategy and advisory firm that helps organizations create effective strategies and interventions to increase access to finance for women entrepreneurs in East Africa. They offer strategies on gender lens investing and entrepreneurial programming for women.

The Gender Smart Lending Toolkit by M-Kyala Ventures is an outcome of the Gender Equality Initiative in East Africa, organized by the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The toolkit aims to provide financial institutions with process and product recommendations that they can incorporate into their existing work to better support women entrepreneurs, while still making a profit.

"We believe that offering improved lending products for women entrepreneurs can accelerate the economies of East Africa."

Our Mission
